Reggie White Jr. Remember the name because right now, he is a rising star in the NY Giants organization.
Today, I ran into rookie wide receiver, Reggie White Jr. at the Monmouth University football game and I got to talk to him and ask him a few questions.
He’s humble and so grateful for where he is and that he’s still apart of the team. He’s just waiting for his chance to get the call. White says, “Being able to go into the facility every day and still be around those guys, it’s a blessing.”
White stated he gets along very well with his fellow receivers such as Sterling Shepard and Cody Latimer. Getting to this level of a sport can change a person and alter their goal but Reggie White Jr. is focused and grounded. A big reason for this is his huge family, and I mean huge.
The White family traveled as a group of 60 to Reggie’s first NFL game!
“I feel like I’ve got the best support system in the world. From my parents to my whole family. Having that support, it allows me to keep pushing and motivates me every day.”
Before White was a rising star in the NFL, he was a superstar on the Monmouth University football team. With the Division 1 team now three games into their season, White said that they’re looking great and they “Started off very well. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the year.”
Reggie stated, “If I get that call, I’m just staying ready, so just taking one day at a time. Just staying ready, that’s the main focus.”
I feel that he’ll be starting on the field for the Giants sooner than later. When he gets the call, I have every confidence that not only will he meet the expectations, but exceed them as well!
“TOUCHDOWN! REGGIE WHITE JR.” You heard it here first.
